Its dimensions are 23x56 and has a max capacity of 450 pounds and it's for 2 inch hitches only. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver. We'll go ahead and line our pin holes up. Once we get those lined up, we'll go ahead and take our included anti rattle bolt, go ahead and thread that through. Once you get that hand tightened, you can go ahead and tighten it the rest of the way down with our wrench and by tightening this up, it's going to help reduce the play and the rattle within our hitch and our cargo carrier. more

All right, once we get those lined up we'll go ahead and take our anti-rattle bolt, go ahead and start threading that through. Once we get that hand tight, we can go ahead and take our socket wrench and go ahead and tighten that the rest of the way down. By doing so, it's going to help reduce the wobble and the play within our hitch and our cargo carrier. Once we get that secure we'll go ahead and take a few measurements. Starting with our nearest point, as you can see here, about an inch and a half from here to our bumper. more

We'll slide it in far enough to line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. Once we have those lined up with one another we'll take a standard 5/8 pin; we'll slide this through and then we'll secure it on the other side with our clip. more

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain we're going to be test fitting the 23x56 Rola Dart Folding Cargo Carrier for 2" hitches. With a 450 pound weight capacity, it's part number 59550. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll thread in our anti-rattle bolt, tighten it down with a wrench, and then we can secure it with the provided clip. In this position we'll have about 12-1/4" worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is about 4" away. Overall we've added about 12" in length to the car. Pulling the large red handle on the top of the carrier will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle into the loading position. more

In this position the carrier is going to offer us about 12 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the back of the vehicle is about 2 inches away and overall we've added about 27 1/2 inches to the length of the Terrain. When opening the rear hatch it's going to break over our carrier at about 16 3/4 inch mark. more

We'll have about 15 inches worth of ground clearance here at the rear of the rack. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is about 8 inches away and overall we've added about 40 1/4 inches to the length of the car. When opening our rear hatch it breaks over our carrier at about the 20 inch mark. more

Overall we've added about 6-3/4" to the length of the Terrain. Pulling the pin at the base of the carrier allows us to tilt it away from our vehicle into the loading position. more

With our bolt tight, our cargo carrier is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. With the platform in the stored position, we have a ground clearance of 22-1/2", and 3" from the closest part of the cargo carrier to the back of our vehicle. We can now go ahead and unfold the cargo carrier to the loading position. more

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon XL we'll be test fitting the 24 by 60 folding cargo carrier for two inch hitches rated at 500 pounds from CURT, part number C18132. Now to begin our test fit we'll slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin holes, and install our hitch pin. We'll then put the clip on the other side which will then secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. With our cargo carrier in the stored position we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance is 22 inches and from the closest point of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle in the stored position is about 1 inch. We'll now go ahead and pull the pin here at the base of the cargo carrier and bring the cargo carrier platform down. more

Our ground clearance at the back of the carrier is 23 1/2 inches. To the closest part of our Yukon XL tot eh carriers platform is about 7 1/2 inches. Our carrier will add 27 1/2 inches to the overall length of our Yukon XL. more

Now with our included adapter on our cargo carrier, all we need to do is slide in the cargo carrier shank to the hitch line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattled bolts. With our bolt tight, our cargo carrier is now secured to our vehicle. We will now go over a few important measurements. The ground clearance at the back of the cargo carrier is 22 inches. Our cargo carriers closest point to the back of the vehicle is 3-1/2 inches. more

To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up the pin hole and install our pin and clip. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 21-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Yukon is about 6 inches, and we've added about 29 inches to the overall length of our Yukon. more

To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch tube, align our pin hole, slide our pin through our pin hole and secure with the clip. Now lets go over some clearance measurements to see how the carrier and this vehicle fit together. There are about 17 inches of ground clearance from the rear of the carrier. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle is about a half an inch. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicles exhaust tip is about five and a half inches. more

Today on our 2012 GMC Canyon well be test fitting the 23 x 51 Aluminum Cargo Carrier by UWS, part number UWS03511. To begin our test fit well simply install the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. We can then put our safety pin into the other side of the hitch pin which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle and we can go ahead and load it up. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. From the closest point of our cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is 5-1/2 inches, and this cargo carrier will add an additional 29 inches to the overall length of your vehicle. The sides of the cargo carrier measure 5-3/4 inches tall and the tail pipe of our exhaust on the Canyon exits the passengers side rear of the vehicle, it is approximately 17 inches from our cargo carrier and sits slightly lower than the base of the cargo carrier. more

Today on our 2012 GMC Canyon well be test fitting the Curt 20x48 cargo carrier part #: c18145. To begin our test fit well simply install the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and insert our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt tight well insert the safety pin on the other side of the bolt which will secure our cargo carrier to our vehicle, and were now ready to load it up. At this one well give you a few measurements: the edge of the cargo carrier sits 5 and a half inches from our rear bumper, the cargo carrier adds an addition 25 and a half inches to the overall length of our vehicle and the height of our compartment is 5 and a half inches. Now, the exhaust on our truck exits the passenger side of our vehicle, but is approximately 14 inches from the cargo carrier, so there may be some heat transferred from the exhaust gas to the cargo carrier. And that completes our test fit of the Curt 20x48 cargo carrier for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches part #: c18145 on our 2012 GMC Canyon.. more

With our cargo carrier in the stored position from its closest point to the back of the vehicle its 4 inches. Well now go ahead and pull the pin on the bottom of the cargo carrier to fold it down. Remember to reinstall the pin to keep the cargo carrier from bouncing around while youre driving down the road. more
